reflect the state of research on sex dolls and robots
In order to comprehensively reflect the state of research on love dolls and robots, it is necessary to collect scientific literature from different disciplines and to address different dimensions of the topic. Often the debates focus first and foremost on the negative or positive effects of sex dolls and sex robots.
Effects are an important dimension of this topic. However, it is important to be aware that the effects will always vary depending on the users and usage in different settings (e.g. domestic, commercial and therapeutic) and the design of the selected male sex doll or sex robot (e.g. gender, age, race, body type and sexual and non-sexual functionalities). Therefore, as the title suggests, this review looks at the design, use, and effects of both sex dolls and sex robots.
These 12 questions consisted of three two-part questions, one forced-choice question, three open-ended questions, and finally five open-ended questions that allowed for qualitative analysis. Completing the questionnaire took an average of 14 minutes, with many participants taking less than 10 minutes. A small number of respondents took more than an hour and provided very detailed answers.
In order to optimize participation in the study, the questionnaire was systematically reposted in both forums over a period of two months. When asked if they would be personally willing to have sex with a lifelike sex doll, 8% answered yes, 13% were neutral, and 79% agreed no or very no. Only one male of the 345 respondents reported having had sex with a doll.
"Besides the sex doll (penis-to-vagina intercourse), we spend a lot of time kissing ("making out"), giving her massages, performing oral sex on her, grooming her (cleansing her skin, fixing and combing her hair). " "Cuddling and lying in bed together is a favorite. I also enjoy hugging, kissing and exploring her body."
